Anglian awarded United Welsh Window Contract
Anglian Building Products has successfully secured a new windows and doors contract in South East Wales.
The contract placed by United Welsh is for the supply and installation of windows and doors to a selection of Living +’ scheme properties in Blaenau Gwent and Cardiff.
Living + provides housing to people of 55yrs of age and over. It is a service that specialises in meeting the lifestyle needs of this group of customers and is committed to developing services as needs change.
The old Crittall windows in the residents’ apartments and communal areas will be replaced with Anglian White Knight 70mm PVCu casement windows and new composite doors will be fitted to the apartments.
The contract was secured through a best value mini-competition through the Integrate Consortium Maintenance Framework Agreement (Lot 3). Anglian were originally awarded a place on the OJEU compliant framework , having achieved the top score of all bidders. The Integrate Consortium consists of eight housing associations that collectively own and manage around 23,000 homes across South Wales.
Nigel Wardle, Anglian Director of Operations said: We are delighted to be awarded this contract by United Welsh and even more so, as it is the first that we have secured under the Integrate Consortium Agreement.
